Biography
Dr Yap received his PhD in medical physics from the University of Chicago in 1998. He worked in the development of positron emission tomography as tool for assessing novel chemotherapy at the MRC Cyclotron Unit in London, UK. He worked in the early development of the hybrid PET/CT scanner as a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh and University of Tennessee before joining DFCI in 2005 as the Senior Diagnostic Physicist.
